We invite you to take part in the flood of pictures on the subject of“analog-digital interactions” ! In a world characterized by increasing digitalization, we want to explore the interface between the analogue and the digital, and also discover your creative interpretation of this exciting field.
As always, analog-digital interactions are what you create them to be ! Whether photo, collage, drawing, hidden object, cartoon, painting, composing or more … . You can find inspiration “around the corner” – in everyday life, online, in the cellar, at Aunt Emma’s or Uncle Eugen’s.
It’s easy to take part, as long as the work is yours.
- Please send us a maximum of three images (1, 2 or 3) that in some way represent the theme of “analog-digital interactions”. Add a short description of your pictorial motif (maximum 3 sentences).
- The submission must be original and must not contain any copyright infringements. By sending us the picture, you confirm this.
- With your participation you allow us to present your work for the flood of pictures free of charge.
- Whether it’s a photo, collage, drawing, hidden object, cartoon, painting, composing or anything else, the main thing is that it’s in digital form (original or scanned).
- Please submit the image in a higher resolution (e.g. 300 dpi) and only by eMail to bilderfluten[at]fvks.eu .
- Please state your first name and surname in the eMail and, if possible, your place of residence in this world. Your name will be mentioned when your picture is published, all other data is only required to carry out the action. And, of course, not passed on by us.
- Your submission should reach us by March 27, 2024 at the latest and the file size should not exceed 10 MB.

Every entry that is liked will be published. Although “liking” is always a matter of taste, we are guided above all by how creatively and originally the topic is realized, how strong the expressive power of the picture is, what “story” or “message” the work conveys. And, of course, how “serious” your entry is. Legal recourse is excluded.

Your entry will be published on this website as part of our “flood of pictures” on the subject of analog-digital interactions. The flood of pictures compraises the complete collection of all submitted works at a glance.
In addition, we are also planning a presentation on site in our gallery FVKS.ONE (Untermarkt 23, Görlitz) as well as at events that we are part of in 2024/2025, such as the Görlitz media festival SCHAUPLÄTZE. We expressly do not pursue any commercial interests with the flood of pictures!

At the FVKS (Förderverein Kulturstadt Görlitz-Zgorzelec e.V.), we have been working for several years with analog-digital and purely virtual formats in the production and presentation of art and culture. Our newly established gallery FVKS.ONE at Untermarkt 23 in Görlitz offers exciting insights on selected occasions. The“gallery in motion” exhibition series recently came to an end on site; the virtual 3D presentations can be seen until December 31, 2024.
In recent years, around 40 virtual 3D exhibitions on a wide variety of topics have been created, some with their “analog” counterparts on site, often as pure media projects. Among other projects, we have digitized our “real” gallery FVKS.ONE and now use it as a “real digital” exhibition venue, for example for gallery in motion.
In addition to the artistic sphere, the FVKS has been supporting local cultural and educational work within our international region in a wide variety of fields since 2003. We offer numerous opportunities for people who want to get involved in civic (voluntary) work, e.g. as a tower guide (m/f/d) or in the event and exhibition area. We are happy to create (new) art and cultural activities together with (new) partners.
